Blue/Red Emergency Services Traffic Baton

 

With a magnetic base it can be mounted to stationary metallic objects/vehicles and an optional tripod allows it to be deployed on ground surfaces at an elavated level and used similarly to a traffic cones but without the bulk and weight.

 

The police traffic baton also benefits from a basic nose cone torch feature and has a length of 36 cm’s with a belt clip and wrist lanyard and weighs in at just 250grams with batteries installed.

It’s lightweight and versatility make it ideal for police cycle and mounted units and extends the operational capabilities of these police units.

The optional tripod mounting allows the police traffic wand to be deployed as an emergency traffic beacon on any surface and so has uses for emergency road demarcation lines, helicopter landing zones and road traffic incidents to name but a few possible applications. With a traffic cone rubber adapter the traffic baton can also be deployed as a road marker in the nose of a traffic cone, it’s 360 degree output with multiple light patterns make it a highly versatile road safety product and can reduce the amount of equipment a police vehicle need carry.

Using the equipment clip to support the baton upside down on a police warning sign or general road sign provides additional warning capability at the scene of a road incident, the reflective properties of road signs significantly increases the flashing effect and must be seen to be fully apprecated. Furthermore such a deployment strategy directs the output of the light so you can alert traffic in one direction only which avoides distracting traffic on an opposite carriageway.
