Red/WhiteTraffic Baton

Red/White 3 mode traffic wand with 18 red and white high output LED's.

Modes:-

1. Red flash  
2. Red solid/constant light
3. White solid/constant light

A  translucent polycarbonate light sleeve casing which measures just under 17cm and an ABS handle make this a robust traffic baton with an overall length of 27cm (the handle is 10cm's).

The light wand has a wrist lanyard, belt clip and a magnetic base allowing deployment on metallic surfaces. The magnet is strong enough to support the wand vertically and with its white light function it makes a useful emergency lantern.

An optional tripod allows it to be placed on the ground above the level of grass and other ground clutter making it a useful stand alone light beacon with bot a red and white lantern capability.

Many motorists use this as a hazard warning light and particularly campers and caravaners who use the white mode as a portable light source, a good set of rechargeable batteries with give an evenings light to an outside event.

When deployed in its tripod the wand becomes a useful demarkation marker and can be used to indicate hazards, safe passage ways and for general route marking.

Being compact, lightweight and extremely bright for such a small unit they offer an alternative to traditional bulky traffic cones and warning beacons in environments where fast moving traffic is not a consideration (as they are light weight they would be prone to movement if exposed to fast moving air streams)  Ideal for banksmen and marshalling stewards.

Unit requires 3 x AA cell batteries (Not included as standard)

The baton has 18 internal red and 18 white LED’s which are operated via a single button which also doubles as the on/off switch.

Although very compact, having such a large number of LED's makes them highly visible and they can be seen from the air at ranges of up 900m (subject to ambient light conditions).

The traffic control baton is weather resistant and will operate in severe and adverse weather conditions, being gasket sealed to resist water ingress, it will actually resist total immersion so it does have marine applications too.
