These IR Knight Pods have military and civilian defence applications wher a covert light similar to military glim lights can be deployed but only seen with the aid of night vision goggles (NVGs) or night vision monoculars (NVM).

Having the same tough characteristics as our standard Knight Pod lights which are used widely by the Police and Air Ambulance Services, they can be deployed in seconds without concern for overly robust handling damaging the unit. We have had this tested by the RAF who have deployed these from the air onto soft landing ground from considerable height!

Glim lights are available in a variety of colour options as well as this Infra Red (IR) version so if your requirement is for something visible and you do not use NVG's review the rest of our range of Knight Pod flashing beacons.
