It’s extremely robust
It has an impact resistant ABS body and cap as well as a shatterproof polycarbonate lens, designed to survive a drop from one metreheight onto a concrete surface. It is gasproofand waterproof.

Not only does an Eflare provide safety, but it is safe to use. It is HAZMAT accredited for use in Class 1, Division 2 / Zone 2 hazardous areas. Unlike pyrotechnic flares there is no risk of fire or explosion and there are no toxic fumes or residue.
